MY TAKE ON HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE

this book has always been my favorite out of the series, so going into the theater i had my hopes very high. i supposed HBP has always been my favorite because its the first book in my opinion where events start turning dark. Harry has realized that it will take a lot more than what he has to kill Voldemort. Also, because this book is centered on Severus Snape and Draco Malfoy. Severus Snape was my 2nd favorite character because i had faith in him not being a bad guy. i had hope that he really wasnt what he seemed. and after Deathly Hallows he quickly became my favorite (move over RON) when i was assured that i was right.

first things first. i really really loved this movie. why? because it actually seemed like a continuation of movie 5. all the cast members looked the same. unlike in books 1-4, when they were growing up and puberty struck, making them look different in each and every movie.

#1 Irkment:
i wanted Scrimgeour and the Muggle Prime Minister.

#2 Irkment:
Narcissa's hair. its supposed to be all blonde. enough said.

#3 Irkment:
Ginny being taller than Harry. sorry just seems awkward to me.

#4 Irkment:
No memories of the Gaunts.

#5 Irkment:
Spinners End was not at all how i pictured. i was thinking run down, broken down house with chipped paint, missing floor boards and whatnot.

no scenes of Defense Against The Darks Arts with Snape

the Deatheaters are running through the castle and a spell is cast at the glass turners holding the jewels for the house cup. the glass shatters and rubies?/emeralds are all over the floor... OR WAS THIS A FANFICTION I READ>>I DONT KNOW ANYMOREEE

i really loved this movie. i loved the beginning with harry and the cafe girl. dumbledore being quite 'gay' with his character. the heads poking over the stairs at the burrow. ron cockblocking harry. ron eating the love potion chocolates. Hermiones hair getting frizzier in potions class. Draco crying in the bathroom BUT WHERES MOANING MURTLE?! tonks calling remus sweetheart. i didnt mind the attack on the Burrow. i LOVED the explaination of the vanishing cabinent, since while reading the book i was quite confused on that part. Cormac being a total hottie!!

i loved the 'slipping ron liquid luck' hermione crying over ron on harrys shoulder. draco malfoy. severus snape. severus snapes sausage fingers slughorn as a chair. harry being drunk on liquid luck was hilarious!

it was pretty hilarious movie although the reason that i liked the book was because it showed a lot of 'darkness' about the upcoming war and what is happening in the wizarding world.
it could have been much darker.

and the fight scene at the end was not a fight scene but rather a chase. they should have made that scene like how it was supposed to be & therefore get the pg13 it deserves.

I NEED TO WATCH THIS MOVIE AGAIN! I FEEL LIKE IVE FORGOTTEN EVERYTHING IVE JUST SEEN!!!!!
